Le pottok est un
petit cheval sauvage qui vit au pays basque. Sa race est très
ancienne. Il a une robe brune ou noire.
The
"pottok" is a little wild horse that lives in the basque country.
It's a very primitive type. He is brown or
black.
Il habite dans la
montagne.
He lives in the
mountains.
Il mange de
lherbe, des fleurs, des feuilles, des branches.
He eats grass, flowers,
leaves, branches.
Il est très
sauvage.
He is wild.
A Sare, il est
souvent dessiné sur des pierres en forêt pour montrer le
chemin.
In some mountain villages
(Sare is one of them), they use his image as symbols to mark walking
sites.
